Turban Style Headbands – Hot or Not?

Turban style headbands seem to be making a comeback, especially since Supre have popped out their own version for just $12 AUD. Originally inspired from Prada’s spring summer collection 07, turban headbands have been seen on the heads of celebs such as Mary-Kate Olsen and Zoe Kravitz a few seasons ago, but more recently Leighton Meester (a.k.a. Blair Waldorf) on Gossip Girl. I keep seeing these darn things everywhere, Dash, (or Will? I always get confused) sports a turban style head band on their film clip ‘out of control’, and Forever 21 has some funky turban looking head gear in their ‘Sand Blast’ look book.

I doubt I could rock a turban style headband as my face is shaped like the moon and one of these babies would make my face look only rounder…… And I wouldn’t know what to do with my hair….. it would probably poof up at the font and look all silly! What do you reckon? are you a fan of this ‘new trend’??

Pastel colours with a preppy feel was the theme for Prada Resort, as Miuccia Prada infused high style with a beachy attitude. Bold prints where on the scene, and silk ties around the ankles did not go astray. Its gossip girl meets Copacabana. And its hot.
