Just Fill Me In!

Note to self:  “A chignon, pronounced “sheen-yon,” is a popular type of bun style. The word “chignon” comes from the French phrase “chignon du cou,” which means nape of the neck. Chignons are generally achieved by pinning the hair into a knot at the nape of the neck, but there are many different variations of the style. They are frequently worn for special occasions, like weddings and formal dances, but the basic chignon is also worn for everyday casual wear.”

Thanks Wikipedia, but it doesn’t take a no brainer to work out that side buns, or more fancy “chignon” is a hot, elegant style that’s easy to do that suits everyone.  You can either have a fierce side bun with straight slick hair, or a move relaxed side bun with wavy hair, giving off a beachy feel.

Side buns are quite easy to do.  Part your hair on one side, tie a low pony on the other, and swirl it into a bun! Voila!  An instant easy hair style!  A classy change from your everyday pony tail!
